Nutty Watergate Bundt Cake
I grew up on Bundt cakes, and love making them. Bundt cakes are not necessarily conformed to any single recipe; instead, their characterizing feature is that distinctive ring shape like this gorgeous nutty watergate bundt cake
I remember eating something like this many years ago! It was like a green colored cake, (that was because of the pistachios) and it was covered in nuts. Pretty much like this awesome and yummy recipe!
This Nutty Watergate Bundt cake might taste like something out of the 1970s, but it truly tastes great! It's full of nuts, and is super moist! Of course there is no mistaking the pistachio pudding mixed in with this, and that delightfully weird looking green color in the cake!
The light frosting on top is made with Cool Whip but there's no reason why you couldn't use homemade whipped cream as an alternative if you had no Cool Whip handy. The pecans and shredded coconut on top is just a perfect finish to such a wonderfully tasty cake, and it provides a little extra crunch!
I think this is definitely a very yummy recipe and one that the whole family will enjoy!
