I discovered this Tasty Caramel Apple Cake recipe just by chance.

 

This is one of those rare recipes where you shouldn’t change a thing, mainly because it is so scrumptious. However you could make more frosting but that would be the only addition to an otherwise perfect recipe.

This could be a special cake for someone’s birthday, or just as a really nice dessert for the whole family to enjoy.

      Hi Marilyn,
      When I used this recipe I never use the wholewheat pastry flour , and only used all purpose flour (twice) and I made up for the difference. Hope that helps.

  2. I’m also questioning the All Purpose Flour. If you elect to not use wholewheat, you use the 2-3/4 cups of all purpose flour, correct? Would love to bake this cake, but want to ensure the total amount of flour. Thanks!

      Yes if you elected not to use any of the wholewheat flour, the total same amount would be (3 3/4 cups!). Let me know how it turns out!

  3. I have never used the all purpose flour. I use the Self-Rising flour. Will this be good for this cake. If so, how much flour would I use. It sure sounds delicious. Please respond by e-mail.
